Clinic Information

We're pleased to offer the following at Montville Animal Hospital:

Annual Exams and Sick Visits

We work by scheduled appointments so we can give our full attention to each pet and client. Each appointment is allotted 30 minutes minimum so we can thoroughly evaluate your pet. Annual wellness pet visits are important to make sure your pet is in top shape. Vaccinations are given during wellness visits and routine bloodwork is typically run.

We are also available for sick visits for when your pet isn't feeling their best.  Same day appointments can usually be made for sudden illnesses, but it is best to schedule an appointment as soon as you notice something is wrong.

Emergency Care

Occasionally an emergency will happen in the middle of the day and we are happy to treat those pets also. If you have an emergency during the day, please call us to let us know what the problem is and when you will be arriving.

We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 5 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle urgent care for your pet. Emergencies can be things such as lacerations, hit by car, and toxin ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.

In the event that your pet needs more advanced care, we will refer you to a 24 hour emergency facility to make sure your pet gets the best care possible.
